Senior Quantitative Analyst

Join our Structured Trading and Asset Management team as our new Senior Quantitative Analyst and become part of developing our trading strategies as well as supporting our growing gas portfolio.

Team

As our new Senior Quantitative Analyst, you will be part of an ambitious and diverse trading team consisting of both traders, analysts and portfolio managers. Our primary focus is on the asset backed trading strategies as well as our structured portfolio. We continuously strive to challenge, develop our people and create tools helping us in our daily decision making.

The role

In the role as a Senior Quantitative Analyst, you will quickly become an integral part of the team and its daily trading decision by actively developing high-quality models and pricing tools that supports the trading activities of our complex and structured portfolio in order to maximize our profits. You will be working closely together with our structured traders and quantitative analysts to bring in new trading ideas and strengthen our quantitative setup at the desk.

Your Qualifications

We expect that you:

• Hold a Master or PhD within a quantitative field

• Have a strong mathematical / financial intuition and experience within option pricing

• Have experience within Python or other coding language

• Have a strong commercial mindset and are a great communicator

It would also be an advantage to have:

• Experience within modelling and pricing of gas storages and swings

• Experience within the energy trading sector
