Intraday Power have a number of valuable student assistants who support the team's service delivery. We can only succeed through providing training and continuously pushing the limits of students' skills in our teams. We never run low on challenges and projects that are in every way equal to that of a full-time employee, so our task as a team is to be flexible in time, skills and areas of expertise.

What you’ll be doing

  • Work closely with traders to assist them in their daily tasks and help solve problems with other departments such as IT and our back office.
  • Responsible for carrying out the logistics in terms of moving power across Europe and ensuring balanced markets. This includes but is not limited to placing exchange bids, booking OTC deals with our counterparts, ensuring correct data, and staying aligned with the market positions, the traders and trading strategies.
  • Opportunity to influence the scheduling role, as we depend on you to continuously contribute to the improvement of our services.
  • You will grow over time and learn how to approach complex problem solving while under pressure, strengthen your communication skills and gain a solid network across company functions.

We have a few must-haves

  • In university education with a minimum 18 months of study remaining
  • Genuine interest and curiosity, keen on gaining hands on experience and knowledge in the business
  • Aalborg based, and available to work in our Aalborg office 2-3 days a week
  • Flexibility to undertake day/evening shifts varying 6-10 hours
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure – the team has busy periods with strict deadlines, maintaining a cool head is critical to success
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive approach to managing internal stakeholders
  • Strong numerical and logical reasoning skills
