Centrica plc today confirmed that its trading arm, Centrica Energy, has entered into a long-term Liquefied Natural Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with PTT International Trading Pte Ltd.
Under the agreement, PTT International Trading Pte Ltd (PTTT) will supply Centrica with LNG for a 10-year period, with deliveries scheduled to commence in 2028. The SPA builds on the Heads of Agreement signed in June 2025 and marks a significant step forward in Centrica’s strategic commitment to grow its LNG portfolio. The contract will be managed from Centrica Energy’s Singapore office.
The agreement secures flexible and reliable LNG supply for Centrica’s Asian customers, whilst deepening Centrica’s relationship with PTT, an important partner in Asia. Strengthening the partnership between PTT and Centrica, the agreement reflects both companies’ commitment to enhancing energy security and supporting the energy transition in the region.
