Centrica Energy is pleased to announce signing of a long-term natural gas purchase agreement with Tourmaline Oil Corp., Canada's largest natural gas producer
Beginning in April 2028, Tourmaline will supply Centrica Energy with 50,000 MMBtu of natural gas per day over a ten-year period—equivalent to approximately five LNG cargoes annually. The volumes will be indexed to the Title Transfer Facility (TTF), the European gas hub benchmark.
This agreement supports Centrica’s strategy to manage market price risk across its LNG portfolio by aligning feed gas pricing with European market dynamics. It also provides Tourmaline with exposure to international LNG pricing, reinforcing its global growth ambitions.
Centrica Energy’s LNG trading desks in London and Singapore enable round-the-clock coverage of global energy markets. This agreement further strengthens Centrica’s diversified LNG portfolio and supports its mission to deliver secure, affordable, and sustainable energy to customers worldwide.
