Centrica Energy and Saint-Gobain Germany have signed a 10-year corporate power purchase agreement (cPPA) for the offtake of renewable power from the Wadersloh III solar park in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Starting April 2026, Centrica Energy will supply Saint-Gobain with 28 GWh of solar electricity annually under a pay-as-nominated structure. The Wadersloh III solar park has an installed capacity of 21 MW and will contribute to Saint-Gobain’s decarbonisation efforts across its German operations, in line with the Group’s commitment to reaching net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
This agreement marks another step in Centrica Energy’s strategy to support industrial partners in their energy consumption transition by enabling access to long-term, stable, and traceable renewable energy sources across Europe.
